About LASAI
LASAI (Latin American School of AI) is an intensive multi-day school that trains AI talent through hands-on labs, mentoring and real projects. Born in 2025, it brings together students, engineers and researchers from across Latin America in a single immersive program.
Methodology Day 0: onboarding and setup · Days 1–N: lectures, labs and mentoring · Final: demos, presentations and networking with the alumni community.
LASAI is part of a broader philanthropic initiative that also includes SIMBig (International Conference on Information Management and Big Data). Together they form part of the SIMBig organization, supporting both scientific research and AI education in Latin America.
